Blades & Cylinders Technician needed to fill a position at our North Walpole, NH location.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Responsible for making new doctor blades for the presses.
• Responsible for inspecting returned cylinders (using Tegatron machine) from press to ensure gravure cells are clean and cylinder wear is minimal.
• Follows print schedules to pull print cylinders from racks, install bearings and deliver loaded cylinder carts to appropriate gravure presses.
• Returns cylinders to correct rack space after inspection.
• Operates bio-blast machine to clean print cylinders as needed.
• Maintains all cylinder cleaning log books.
• Assist with plant projects and tasks as directed by the Plant Manager or the Print Department Supervisor.

Required knowledge, skills and abilities:

• Must have a H.S. Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
• Must have strong Reading and writing skills
• Ability to grip, manipulate, and carry up to 50lbs repetitively
• Ability to use hand tools: wrench, wiper, utility knife, etc.
• Work standing on feet two to three hours between breaks.
• Ability to perform the essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodations

Qualifications: 

Minimum one-year previous experience working in a manufacturing environment.
